Honduras Declares State of Emergency Over Dengue Fever
Sixteen people have died this year in Honduras from dengue fever prompting the government of Honduras to declare a state of emergency. This year alone over 12,000 people have been diagnosed with the disease. Attempts are being made to control the disease and fight the mosquitoes that spread it.\n\nHonduran Health Minister Salvador Pineda said controlling the disease is a national priority.
